Description

Lead user-centered design for cross-functional product teams, solving complex problems for customers and employees.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research, strategy, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Design responsive applications for diverse environments, from office settings to rail yards.
• Analyze complex workflows across departments to create effective custom solutions.
• Produce sketches, wireframes, visual design comps, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Develop journey maps, personas, and research reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UX design.
• Proficiency in UI design, visual design, and responsive design.
• Expertise in Axure or similar interactive prototyping tools.
• Strong command of usability principles, UI patterns, layout, typography, and color.
• Experience with user research methodologies and facilitating usability studies.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to apply design system standards to specialized applications.
• Experience presenting design work to stakeholders and other designers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading design projects and providing guidance to development teams.
• Familiarity with Material Design or research repositories like Dovetail.
