Lead generative and evaluative research to uncover insights and answer complex product questions.

You will own the end-to-end research lifecycle, from scoping ambiguous problems to communicating findings that influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute research strategies that identify both known and previously unidentified factors.
• Design and conduct generative and evaluative studies, including user interviews, work shadows, focus groups, and usability tests.
• Collect, store, and steward qualitative and quantitative data to ensure rigorous analysis.
• Scope problems and objectives that may not be clearly defined by stakeholders or project teams.
• Advocate for UX design and research principles to teams unfamiliar with these methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience leading substantial qualitative and mixed methods research projects.
• Deep understanding of UX research methodologies and their appropriate application.
• Ability to clearly convey complex findings through work samples that demonstrate research process and methods.
• Strong communication skills to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and project teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic project needs and priorities.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite at the Spring, TX campus almost all of the time.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, Information Science, or a similar field.
