Responsibilities

• Create user-centered design solutions for mobile and desktop.
• Develop visual designs, mockups, websites, and web applications.
• Collaborate with developers to implement designs directly.
• Apply usability principles and web-based information architecture best practices.
• Iterate on designs within a startup-style workflow.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in UX, web design, or a related field.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills.
• Proven ability to produce user-centered design solutions.
• Demonstrated visual design skills via a portfolio of mockups or web apps.
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience working in highly agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to create illustrations and visual images for complex systems.
• Experience conducting usability studies, user interviews, or contextual inquiry.
• Background in healthcare or e-commerce.
