Description

Lead user-centered design to build intuitive browser-based interfaces and define business processes from user needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Elicit business goals and user needs through stakeholder engagement and customer discovery.
• Design and conduct formative usability tests, including interviews, contextual inquiry, card sorting, and testing.
• Develop conceptual models, journey maps, personas, and scenarios of use.
• Create and refine screen prototypes while documenting user requirements and design recommendations.
• Present research findings and design recommendations to small and large groups.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of direct interaction and interface design experience using user-centered methods.
• 6+ years of experience documenting user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations.
• 4+ years of experience designing and conducting formative usability tests.
• 4+ years of experience preparing and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, Master's with 5 years, or 11 years of related experience.
• Proven ability to communicate technical topics and interface with customers daily.
• Must provide a digital portfolio of design work for review.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Axure RP or AdobeXD prototyping software.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of responsive design, Section 508 requirements, or Pega/ServiceNow platforms.
