Description

You will lead the design vision for internal and external applications, acting as the primary designer for all product work.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop user experiences by collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to align with product vision and roadmaps.
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, prototypes, and site maps to communicate design concepts.
• Produce production-ready art assets and style guides for development team implementation.
• Partner with technical leads and architects to find practical solutions for complex user interfaces.
• Serve as the Digital Accessibility SME, implementing WCAG and Section 508 standards and testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Expertise in prototyping and wireframing using Sketch or Adobe XD.
• Proven ability to design complex interfaces for both web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of web/mobile UI standards and usability principles.
• Practical experience with digital accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.1 and Section 508.
• Experience working within a Scrum or Agile development team.
• Proficiency in conducting user research methods like card sorting and journey mapping.
• Ability to write user stories and test them against acceptance criteria.
• Competency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
