Description

You will lead user-centered design efforts for web and mobile K–12 curriculum experiences. You own information architecture, user flow design, and interaction design to deliver accessible solutions. You balance business needs, technological capabilities, and user feedback to create thoughtful products.

Responsibilities

• Manage UX workstreams independently while collaborating with Technical Product Managers, Project Managers, and Engineering.
• Apply a Continuous Discovery framework and human-centered design activities to product development.
• Work within Agile sprint teams to champion design practices and processes.
• Translate target audience needs and motivating factors into design concepts.
• Create low and high-fidelity sketches and design documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in product development, UX design, or product design.
• Proven portfolio demonstrating web and mobile solutions and your process within the Product Development Lifecycle.
• Advanced proficiency with Axure, Fireworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of responsive design approaches and accessibility guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Visual Communication, Digital Design, Product Design, or Human Centered Design.

Preferred Skills

• MFA or advanced degree.
• Product development experience in Ed Tech.
