Description

You will evolve and maintain a design system to ensure consistent user experiences across all product interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for proper design system usage across engineering and product teams to drive reuse and efficiency.
• Lead efforts to evolve design systems by gathering and documenting user feedback.
• Bridge the gap between product designers and the design system team through clear communication of updates and decisions.
• Collaborate with interaction designers, visual designers, researchers, PMs, and front-end developers to meet aligned goals.
• Design high-quality solutions for complex problems while tracking KPIs that define system success.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of post-education design experience with a proven track record of working with partners and customers.
• Expertise in creating, maintaining, and evolving libraries of reusable UI components, patterns, and guidelines.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong fundamental design skills in typography, iconography, composition, color, and layout.
• Ability to produce diagrams, wireframes, concept maps, prototypes, and interaction guidelines.
• Experience creating visual mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, and motion guidelines.
• Demonstrable ability to work alongside program management, engineering, and research teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Communication Design, or Architecture.

Preferred Skills

• A strong portfolio demonstrating depth and breadth in interaction and visual design.
