Description

You will lead generative research to shape product roadmaps and drive understanding of employee experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generative research studies to inform product roadmaps for 6-month to 2-year horizons.
  • Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Own the end-to-end research lifecycle, from study design and recruiting to analysis and reporting.
  • Package insights into actionable tools, frameworks, and design recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Socialize findings through compelling storytelling and presentations tailored to different audiences.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in user research.
  • Expertise in generative research methods including interviews, diary studies, contextual inquiry, ethnographic research, and competitive analysis.
  • Proven track record leading research for mobile applications, websites, and interconnected platforms.
  • Full mastery of the research lifecycle: study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD), usability testing, heuristic analysis, and accessibility.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar visual tools for reviewing wireframes, storyboards, and user flows.
  • Ability to determine when quantitative research methods are required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Portfolio demonstrating research expertise and process articulation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Background in hybrid research approaches combining generative and evaluative methods.
