Description

You will serve as the subject matter expert for vaccine ordering and supply management within the Vaccine Ordering and Accountability team. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Act as the super-user for the CHIRP Vaccine Ordering Management System (VOMS) and the CDC VTrckS database.
• Manage vaccine ordering and supply requirements, including submitting final orders into the CDC vaccine tracking system.
• Oversee routine and influenza vaccine allocations for north, central, and south provider regions.
• Develop and maintain internal and external policies, procedures, and processes for reviewing provider-submitted vaccine orders.
• Assist with vaccine budget preparation and monitoring, updating required CDC tools and reports.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in vaccine ordering and supply management.
• Proficiency with the CDC VTrckS database and ability to manage complex immunization databases.
• Knowledge of Vaccines for Children (VFC) program requirements.
• Experience with budget monitoring and financial reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
• Ability to travel to assigned events monthly and attend quarterly meetings in Indianapolis.
