You will validate and release electrical components for automotive applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Validate and release electrical components for automotive use cases.
• Execute Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) protocols.
• Apply Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to solve technical problems and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with international suppliers and local labs for component testing.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering field from an ABET accredited university.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience, including research graduate work.
• Hands-on experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Proficiency with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality processes for electrical components.
• Ability to work onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, 3-5 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel up to 5% locally, domestically, and internationally to Europe.
