Develop comprehensive electrical and functional test plans for processor interface validation.
Execute electrical and functional test plans for client processors using hardware and software validation tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Debug electrical and functional issues for new processors to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
Provide detailed input into platform definition and participate in the review of platform designs used for silicon validation of new processors.
Offer technical guidance and training to less experienced engineers and technicians in processor validation planning, testing, and debugging.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3–5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of directly related experience.
Experience and demonstrated technical expertise in the development and execution of platform-level electrical and functional test plans.
Proficiency in debugging processor and PC platform I/O interfaces.
Experience with or knowledge of using oscilloscopes, reading schematics and layout documentation, and Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
Strong programming skills in Python, Ansible, and C/C++, along with experience with Linux, Windows, and VMware operating systems
