Description

You will execute test cases to identify product failures and prevent incorrect shipments by reporting business-critical bugs.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test grids following specific steps without deviation.
• Identify product failures and document them in the test repository and bug tracker.
• Report P1 and showstopper issues immediately.
• Investigate and find out-of-the-box product issues and execute adhoc scenarios.
• Analyze architecture documentation and legacy code to understand system intent.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience working as a validation technician.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Strong software design skills.
• Ability to debug code and perform unit testing.
• Experience reading and understanding architecture documentation and legacy code.
• Competence using Git and Visual Studio.
• Ability to ask developers pointed questions to clarify code intent.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience specifically in Software Validation.
