Description

You will validate Windows OS builds by executing tests on the day of installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade the latest Windows OS builds on test machines.
• Validate defined test cases on the same day of OS installation.
• Identify test failures, blockers, and environmental issues promptly.
• Collect and share system logs (Event Viewer, setup logs, crash dumps, performance logs) with feature teams.
• Coordinate with triage teams to analyze and track identified issues to closure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Windows OS validation.
• Proficiency in C#, PowerShell Scripting, and Batch Scripting.
• Experience with Test Automation, including supporting test automation fixes.
• Strong background in Windows Debugging and Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with WTT processes.
• Ability to leverage Power BI for dashboarding and insights.
• Experience contributing to Windows test source code enlistment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight, same-day validation timelines.
