Description

You will serve as the technical expert for Life Admin and Annuity product systems, leveraging Vantage and RPS to design and deliver complex IT solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design IT solutions during project planning sessions.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on data flow and architectural recommendations.
• Document high-level and low-level technical specifications.
• Debug complex scenarios and deliver technical solutions independently while adhering to IT control policies and corporate architectural standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Vantage/RPS.
• Minimum 5 years of developing policy administration systems using COBOL.
• Minimum 5 years of development, maintenance, and support using COBOL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL and working with stored procedures.
• Expertise in COBOL-DB2 and COBOL-VSAM programming.
• Deep knowledge of Policy Administration System design and architecture.
• Experience working within Agile methodology.
• Background in Life Insurance and Annuity products.

Preferred Skills

• LOMA life insurance certifications.
• CICS working knowledge.
