Description

You will maintain and support legacy shop floor and Mill Load Planner (MLP) applications on VAX/OpenVMS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shop floor system applications using Open VMS and COBOL-85.
• Manage database operations using RDG (Oracle) and VAX SQL.
• Utilize ACMS, TDMS forms, and CDD for application management.
• Debug applications using the ACMS debugger.
• Manage internal messaging via DDX or store-and-forward protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL-85.
• Hands-on experience with VAX and Open VMS.
• Experience with DCL (Digital Command Language).
• Database management using RDB (Oracle) and VAX SQL.
• Knowledge of ACMS and TDMS forms.
• Understanding of CDD and Object Libraries.
• Experience with ACMS Debugger.
• Familiarity with DDX proprietary messaging or store-and-forward messaging systems.
