Description

You will build and maintain desktop applications using C++ and the MFC framework.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop desktop applications using C++/MFC within Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Analyze, profile, and resolve bottlenecks to improve application reliability and performance.
• Integrate remote data access using REST and JSON.
• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within SCRUM/Agile processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive C++ programming and Object-Oriented design expertise.
• Windows development proficiency using VC++, MFC UI, and C#.
• Deep understanding of Win32 API, STL, COM, ATL/MFC, multithreading, networking, and Windows Internals.
• Experience with Webservices and REST/JSON.
• Proficiency with Git and JIRA.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Relational database experience.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
