Description

You will serve as the primary EHR resource dedicated to data collection, system design, and implementation for the health districts.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and system design efforts while coordinating solution-specific activities with internal teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between the organization and vendors during site visits and deliverable phases.
• Execute solution design decisions, including the development of policy, procedures, and system troubleshooting guides.
• Facilitate requirement elicitation, process flow diagramming, and integrated workflow development.
• Develop and execute unit and system test scripts to ensure requirements are met through validation and integration testing.
• Support end-user training and provide post go-live application assistance and problem resolution.
• Manage project documentation, including RFP/SOW reviews, meeting facilitation, and Agile tool management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an Analyst role.
• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare (Health IT, clinical, research, or financial).
• 3+ years of experience working directly with EHR applications.
• Proficiency in SQL, Java, and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with clinically driven revenue cycles, including patient accounting, billing, and claims.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and quality assurance techniques.
• Experience using Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare/Informatics, Information Technology, or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cerner Millennium / Oracle Health EHR.
• Knowledge of Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Discern Explorer.
