Description

You will manage large-scale Oracle database environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-tenant Oracle architectures, including CDB/PDB backups, restores, and upgrades from 19c to 23ai.
• Execute database upgrades and apply quarterly PSU patches using OEM fleet management and provisioning tools.
• Administer Oracle Apex and ORDS stacks, including setup on WebLogic and interfacing with Oracle OHS.
• Automate database jobs and administrative tasks through shell scripting and cloud shell scripting.
• Migrate applications from on-premises environments to Oracle OCI.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in Linux environments.
• Expertise in Oracle OCI, DBaaS, and migrating workloads to the cloud.
• Extensive experience with Oracle 19c, including PL/SQL, OEM, RMAN, and Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with WebLogic (12.2.1.3, 12.2.1.4, 14.1.2) and Oracle OHS setup.
• Proficiency in Oracle Apex (19+) and ORDS (18+) administration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, specifically RDS, EC2, ELB, and S3.
• Experience with SQL*Loader, Data Pump, and database character set migration.
• Capability to perform Oracle database performance tuning and SQL rewriting.
• Experience managing Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Amazon AWS certification.
• Experience customizing Apache FOP for PDF creation and Apex instance settings.
