Description

Manage the design, implementation, and administration of virtual desktop infrastructure and data-center products.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support VMware Horizon View, vCenter, and vSphere environments.
• Deploy and maintain virtual machines, including provisioning and image management.
• Manage user access, application virtualization, and user profile settings.
• Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure reliability and security.
• Execute backup and disaster recovery procedures for virtual desktop environments.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of experience with VMware Horizon View, vCenter, and vSphere.
• 4-5 years of experience in virtual machine creation, provisioning, and maintenance.
• 2-3 years of system administration experience using Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of group policies and network fundamentals.
• Proficiency with VMware, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnets, and VLANs.
• Experience with SAN and NAS storage technologies.
• Ability to use PowerShell for scripting and automation.
• Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynamic Environment Manager for profile management.
• Familiarity with VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) or Security+ certifications.
