Description

Design, implement, and support the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment while ensuring system performance and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage virtual desktops, server/storage systems, and overall VDI infrastructure performance.
• Configure role-based access, user profiles, and identity management.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve system performance issues to minimize disruption.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide training to service desk staff.
• Participate in backup, disaster recovery planning, and on-call support rotations.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of experience with VMware Horizon View, vCenter, and vSphere.
• 4-5 years of experience in VDI deployment, including VM provisioning and image management.
• 2-3 years of experience in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and GPO.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and scripting for automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with profile management and storage technologies such as SAN/NAS.
• VMware Certified Professional - Desktop & Mobility (VCP-DTM), MCSE, CompTIA Server+, or Security+.
