Description

You will design, install, and maintain Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktop solutions using Machine Creation Services.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Citrix VDIs with a strong security posture, handling regular updates and vulnerability resolution.
• Automate and deploy Citrix VDI systems using cloud-native tools like Terraform, Packer, and Jenkins.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and capacity using EG Innovations and Citrix Director.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and training to customers and offshore support teams.
• Research technology trends to enhance desktop offerings and ensure compliance with security policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Citrix system engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktop Service.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a team setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Terraform, Packer, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure features including Portals, Storage Explorer, NSGs, and Resource Groups.
