Description

You will architect and manage desktop virtualization environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments.
• Deploy and manage virtualized applications using Citrix App Layering or similar methods.
• Administer user profiles and policies across Citrix, FSLogix, and AppSense environments.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues for optimal functionality.
• Provide Level 3 support, resolving complex incidents and collaborating with vendors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with desktop virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in Citrix (XenApp, Provisioning Server) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Experience with VMware Horizon View, Hyper-V, and XenServer.
• Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, McAfee, and MS Defender.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and domain-joined infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Image build processes and automation.
• Ability to plan and execute Citrix software upgrades and patching.
• Experience troubleshooting end-user issues related to client computing and services.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with managing user access permissions and conducting access reviews.
