Description

Lead a team supporting VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments, ensuring defined SLAs are met. You will manage vSphere and Horizon View infrastructure, troubleshoot VM availability issues, and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to support VMware VDI environments and maintain service level agreements.
• Build and maintain tracking systems to measure service level performance.
• Monitor vSphere and Horizon View infrastructure, including managing vSphere alarms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VM availability and Horizon View connectivity.
• Identify operational gaps and present improvement plans to customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical environments.
• Proven experience managing VMware Horizon or other VDI solutions.
• Technical expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN.
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure in VCF with VXRAIL or Cisco Hyperflex.
• VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Management (VCP-DTM) certification.
• Strong knowledge of setting up and administering VMware NSX/NSX-T Cloud.
• Ability to maintain compliance while performing technical duties.
• Experience managing service levels and infrastructure monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware App Volumes manager and vCenter.
• Ability to create vRealize workflows utilizing multiple APIs and languages.
• Experience planning, installing, and configuring vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator.
