Description

You will administer and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure to support end-user operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows Virtual Desktop environments.
• Create, deploy, and troubleshoot application packages via App Volumes or App-V.
• Execute monthly system updates, patching, and SCCM deployments.
• Manage thin client imaging and deployment using the Dell Wyse suite.
• Resolve complex escalated incidents involving VDI, voice, and call center applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon, UAG, DEM, and VMware ESXi.
• Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2019.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows Virtual Desktop.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
• Experience managing Windows file shares and NTFS security.
• Competency in SCCM for patching and application deployment.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell or VBScript.
• Familiarity with SQL Server HA Clusters and general Unix/Linux administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware App Volumes and Microsoft App-V.
