Description

You will manage and optimize virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and associated hardware environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CVDI golden images and templates, including completing UAT.
• Resolve L2/L3 customer VDI incidents and manage hardware upgrade requests.
• Manage VDI pools by adding or removing VMs and maintaining user access groups.
• Execute capacity management tasks including weekly and monthly audits of unused sessions.
• Coordinate with Network, ISRM, CSD, and DC teams for firewall changes and blade hardware maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in VDI engineering.
• Proficiency with VMWare and Azure.
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience with Cloud Computing and Automation.
• Hands-on experience with VDI administration and pool management.
• Ability to manage CMDB updates and CHG request processes.
