Description

Lead the implementation of VDI solutions to improve workforce productivity and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering scope, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and vendors to execute VDI projects.
• Manage stakeholder requirements, project objectives, and expectations throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate change management and coordinate training sessions for end-user migration.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing VDI projects from initiation to closure.
• Hands-on experience with VDI implementations.
• Familiarity with VMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps.
• Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and delivery tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Advanced degree or relevant professional training.
