Description

You will manage the full project lifecycle and facilitate Agile delivery for VDOT projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive project delivery through lifecycle management, including resource allocation, risk management, scope, and scheduling.
• Coordinate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, and Story Refinement.
• Protect the team from external interruptions and remove obstacles to maintain productivity.
• Track and report on team velocity, project progress, cost, and risk metrics to stakeholders.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management, prioritization, and maintaining core Agile principles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management or Scrum Master roles.
• Expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with the SAFe framework.
• PMP certification is required.
• CSM certification is required.
• Experience using Jira, Version One, or Team Foundation Server.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, and MS Office.

Preferred Skills

• SAFe Certification.
