Description

You will lead diverse project teams through the full lifecycle of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects to deliver value to Commonwealth stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution including procurement, resource allocation, risk management, scope, and schedule.
• Coordinate vendors, consultants, and IT/business staff to ensure successful project and procurement delivery.
• Oversee the development of proposals, statements of work, statements of requirements, and RFP responses.
• Track and communicate project progress regarding schedule, cost, and risk to stakeholders and executive management.
• Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams to develop project plans, goals, objectives, and policies.

Required Skills

• PMP certification through PMI or VITAs PM certification is mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven experience managing cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects.
• Deep knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience leading business and IT resources through discovery and documentation of technical requirements.
• Strong ability to manage technology management, sponsors, and suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to define and balance quality, scope, schedule, and cost.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models.
• Expertise in process engineering and re-engineering techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VITAs project management practices and governance requirements.
