Description

Lead project teams through Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid lifecycles to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vendors, consultants, and IT/business staff during project execution and procurement.
• Oversee the development of proposals, statements of work, requirements documents, and RFP responses.
• Manage day-to-day project activities including resource allocation, risk management, scope, and schedule.
• Track and communicate project progress on cost, schedule, and risk to stakeholders and executive management.
• Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams to develop project plans, goals, objectives, and policies.

Required Skills

• PMP certification through PMI or VITAs PM certification (mandatory).
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience managing cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience leading business and IT resources through discovery and documentation of technical requirements for RFPs.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to manage project budgets, task lists, and third-party vendor metrics.
• Proficiency in process engineering and re-engineering techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience adhering to VDOT and VITAs project management governance requirements.
