Description

Manage and deliver complex IT infrastructure projects with multiple work streams under aggressive delivery schedules. Lead project phases from initiation through closeout following Commonwealth standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work tasks, resources, and timelines between IT management, technical staff, and business groups.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and status reporting for all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors, overseeing contract management and procurement processes.
• Facilitate design workshops, document requirements, and define test objectives and plans.
• Drive the delivery of scalable, secure cloud solutions and automated project activities.

Required Skills

• PMP certification from PMI or VITA PM certification (required).
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale projects.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery, including network architecture and cloud implementation.
• Hands-on experience with network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, fiber optics, and internet services.
• Technical knowledge of modern fabric-based networks, including underlay, overlay, and SD WAN.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project Server, Visio, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Agile Scrum Master certification.
• Experience managing complex office relocations involving networking and security AV.
