Description

You will manage the validation and testing of engines, transmissions, and drive units in a lab environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute subsystem tests and lead hardware setup, debugging, and troubleshooting for test readiness.
• Develop first-time capable tests for hardware validation and monitor testing progress.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during setup and active testing phases.
• Perform data post-processing to ensure data quality and generate final reports.
• Mentor and train new engineers on standard work processes and procedures.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
• 4+ years of relevant automotive engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with engine dyno setup and testing.
• Experience with engine, transmission, or drive unit testing, calibration, or hardware development.
• Knowledge of gasoline and/or diesel engines and associated hardware.
• Proficiency in data analysis and post-processing to identify and present results.
• Experience working in a lab environment involving safety, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to propulsion system calibration in both test and vehicle environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AVL PUMA/IndiCom and ETAS INCA software.
• Experience with lubrication and vents.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for offsite testing (under 15%).
