Description

You will act as a technical lead designing security into vehicle systems from concept to implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and critique secure designs to drive implementation across the development lifecycle.
• Identify new methods for securing technologies by drafting specifications and completing testing.
• Assess and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities within in-vehicle systems while accounting for embedded hardware limitations.
• Own assignments by developing deep technical understanding, closing security gaps, and reporting to management.
• Develop and mature security controls and features to serve as a domain authority.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded or automotive systems.
• 1+ years of experience with in-vehicle network architecture, modules, and protocols such as CAN.
• Proficiency in developing engineering documentation, including requirements, specifications, and test plans.
• Strong understanding of system-level architecture, development, and design principles.
• Conceptual understanding of security methodologies and challenges.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying security fundamentals including Cryptography, Keying, PKI, and TLS.
• Knowledge of SecOC, AUTOSAR, and IoT security.
• Experience verifying vulnerabilities in system design and working in manufacturing environments.
