Description

Manage vendor integration for the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) upgrade to a current Ed-Fi version, owning technical direction and business guidance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to identify vendors capable of updating products to meet project specifications within a two-year window.
• Interpret data reporting requirements to provide technical direction and business guidance to vendors.
• Facilitate monthly meetings with SIS, HR, and ERP vendors to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with ESCs and LEAs to establish vendor partnerships for end-to-end testing and product validation.
• Produce technical guidance, project updates, and statewide communications via webinars and reports.

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience in System & Data Analysis, Technical Support, and Stakeholder Engagement.
• 6 years of experience in Project Management and Strategic Planning.
• 4 years of experience in interpreting data standards, software requirements, business analysis, and software testing.
• 4 years of experience in business writing and professional presentations.
• Proficiency in managing SDK distribution.
• Ability to work independently with minimal management direction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Texas Public Education, TSDS, or Ed-Fi technology and data standards.
• Background in PEIMS, Student Information Systems, or School Finance/HR systems.
