Description

You will manage local vendor compliance and participant education for the WIC program in Sioux Falls.

Responsibilities

• Educate WIC participants on approved food lists and the mobile app.
• Act as the primary local point of contact for authorized stores to resolve shopping difficulties.
• Conduct onsite monitoring visits and compliance checks at retail locations.
• Assist the central office with semi-annual price list processing and regional training sessions.
• Document and report serious store compliance issues to the central office.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant roles.
• Knowledge of retail services and operations.
• Proficiency with WIC guidelines and approved food guides.
• Experience performing onsite monitoring or compliance audits.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in retail environments.
