Description

Lead verification and optimization of manufacturing workstations, owning the design, audit, and change management lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed CAD layouts for production stations, ensuring compliance with process, tooling, material flow, ergonomics, and safety standards.
• Define scopes of work for new assembly layouts, optimizing vehicle assembly sequences and selecting cost-effective tooling.
• Integrate logistics and material display considerations into workstation design.
• Perform quality audits on workstations to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Manage and document all workstation changes, including updates post-scroll freeze.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience specifically in workstation or workcell design.
• Proficiency in 2D design using AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of ergonomics, material flow, and operator interface requirements.
• Experience with Python and CI/CD Pipelines, including Jenkins.
• Familiarity with ISTQB and ASQ standards.
• Strong documentation, change management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven project management experience in a production or launch environment.
