Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop test cases, test sets, and test plans aligned with product requirements and testing objectives
• Perform smoke, system, regression, and performance testing using current and voltage injection (Omicron kit or simulation)
• Build and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams using tools like Azure
• Generate detailed test reports and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Maintain test environments and optimize testing workflows using appropriate tools
• Analyze test results to identify improvements and enhance testing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards
• Support execution of system, performance, stress, and load testing activities
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices across all testing phases
• Continuously enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency

Experience Required:

• 7-10 years of experience in verification and validation within power systems or related domains
• Strong knowledge of power system protection and substation automation concepts
• Hands-on experience with testing using Omicron kits or similar simulation tools
• Experience in designing and executing manual and automated test strategies
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Playwright or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration practices
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
