Description

You will build and maintain scalable video management, publishing, and cloud delivery platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize scalable platforms for video management and publishing systems.
• Deploy and manage video encoding and packaging applications within AWS.
• Develop and publish reusable component libraries to improve engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize cloud video platforms and enhance static/dynamic video solutions.
• Conduct video quality checks and contribute to video creation, curation, and discovery initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with Amazon AWS and Cloud/SaaS services.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to produce technical writing and design documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NodeJS.
• Familiarity with video protocols such as HLS, RTP, or RTMP.
• Experience with modern video codecs (H264, HEVC, AAC-LC, AV1, VP9) and FFmpeg APIs.
