Description

You will provide Managed Detection and Response services within a 24x7 global SOC to monitor, hunt, and respond to threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review threats and suspicious events from customers in real-time.
• Investigate, triage, and develop remediation plans for security alerts.
• Perform proactive threat hunting using internal visibility tools and proprietary research clouds.
• Collaborate with R&D and research teams to contribute to malware analysis cookbooks and best practices.
• Work directly with customers to follow up on investigations and provide incident support.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of experience in SOC, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Technical Support, or IT Security.
• Proficiency with SQL, Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Strong network and security fundamentals.
• Experience supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional customer interaction.
• Availability to work a fluid schedule, including hours and days outside the normal work week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with incident response, computer forensic investigations, or threat hunting.
• Experience with host-based endpoint agents or network-based sandbox security solutions.
• Knowledge of mobile platforms.
