Description

You will manage and maintain virtual desktop environments to support end-user operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure Virtual Desktops and Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments.
• Create, deploy, and troubleshoot application packages and upgrades.
• Perform system updates, monthly patching, and image management for thin clients using Dell Wyse.
• Resolve complex escalated incidents, including voice and call center application issues.
• Manage Windows 10 WVD deployments and thin client lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Proficiency with VMware Horizon View, VMware ESXi, and VMware DEM.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD).
• Hands-on management of VMware App Volumes and Microsoft App-V.
• Administration of Windows 10, Windows 2012 R2, and Windows 2019.
• Expertise in SCCM for patching and application deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
• Experience with SQL Server HA Clusters, Windows file shares, and NTFS security.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell and VBScript.
• General administration of Unix/Linux systems.

Preferred Skills

• Thin client imaging and management using Dell Wyse suite.
