Description

You will manage the design, administration, maintenance, and performance of VMware systems, hosting hardware, storage infrastructure, and Microsoft Windows servers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate ESXi scripting and server commissioning to support maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot guest and host issues, performing OS tuning and server failure diagnostics.
• Manage VMware clusters, virtual machine creation, cloning, and configuration.
• Maintain VMware Horizon environments, including building and updating parent images for desktops and applications.
• Administer NetApp storage solutions and integrate SAN/NAS with clusters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi clusters, and enterprise-level virtualization.
• 5+ years of experience managing Windows System Administration and Active Directory projects.
• 3+ years of experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and VMware Horizon.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• 3+ years of experience with MS Windows Server (2012 or newer), Windows 7, and Windows 10.
• 3+ years of experience with storage integration (SAN/NAS) and networking integration into ESXi.
• 3+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP, and TCP/IP networking.
• Hands-on experience with VMware DEM and capacity planning for VMware clusters.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco UCS and FI experience.
• VCP, MCSA, or MCSE certifications.
• AWS experience or certifications.
