Description

Architect and design server virtualization solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems administration for Windows Server and UNIX/Linux systems (RHEL, SLES).
• Develop automation using scripting and APIs across various tools.
• Manage and maintain server virtualization platforms in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Define, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot system performance across infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair system problems, liaising with vendors for resolution.

Required Skills

• 13–20 years supporting virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in automation using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Terraform.
• Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, OpenShift, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Proficiency with Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) and Linux distributions (RHEL, SLES).
• Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Vbscript and C++.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewall concepts, and load balancing.
