Description

You will own VM automation and support the transition from OpenStack to a virtualized environment using OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate VM deployments at scale using OpenShift.
• Manage bare metal provisioning, compute, storage, and networking technologies.
• Execute performance testing for virtual machines.
• Optimize server devices and automate processes for large-scale environments.
• Support the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team with private cloud deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization or infrastructure engineering.
• OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• VMware.
• Red Hat Linux.
• Python scripting.
• Ceph Storage.
• Experience with OpenStack.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from OpenStack to virtual machines.
• Knowledge of KVM, KubeVirt, S3, HyperV, or Nutanix.
• Familiarity with vSphere, ESXi, VCF, vRealize, NSX-T, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
