Description

You will design, administer, and optimize VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi clusters, and virtual desktop infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi servers, clusters, and vSphere environments.
• Manage VMware Horizon desktop and application parent images, including builds and updates.
• Administer NetApp storage solutions and monitor resource usage to adjust host or guest configurations.
• Automate server commissioning and maintenance tasks using ESXi scripting.
• Develop and maintain accurate system documentation for all infrastructure components.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing VMware projects, including vSphere and cluster administration.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level virtualization and VMware ESXi server design.
• 5+ years of experience managing projects using Windows System Administration and Active Directory.
• 3+ years of experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting system-level problems, server failures, and OS tuning.
• 3+ years of experience with storage integration (SAN/NAS) and networking integration within VMware ESXi.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows Server 2012+, Windows 7, and Windows 10.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, LDAP, SMTP, and TCP/IP.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco UCS and FI experience.
• VCP, MCSA, or MCSE certifications.
• AWS experience and Rubrik backup systems.
