Description

Develop and maintain VMx services within a Mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical designs and documentation to meet business requirements.
• Develop, code, and test high-priority changes using COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
• Create test plans for unit, regression, system, and production parallel testing.
• Conduct technical walkthroughs with stakeholders and support QA during system testing.
• Manage change requests and provide regular project status updates to managers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Vision Plus development engineering experience.
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of Vision PLUS, specifically CMS, ASM, VMx, and FAS.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, TSO, and ISPF.
• Experience with Endevor and Easytrieve.
• Hands-on experience with CICS, SYNCSORT, and CA tools including Control-M and CA-VIEW.
• Ability to work on both batch and online programs.
• Knowledge of file transmission tools such as FTP and NDM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex Mainframe integration patterns.
