Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments
  • Support private cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale
  • Handle host builds, cluster management, and resource optimization
  • Perform vMotion, Storage vMotion, HA, and DRS configurations
  • Monitor performance, capacity, and system health
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and networking layers
  • Manage patching, upgrades, and lifecycle of VMware infrastructure
  • Support disaster recovery (SRM, replication, backups)

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on VMware Admin experience (NOT VDI/Desktop)
  • Expertise in vSphere, ESXi, vCenter (6.x / 7.x / 8.x)
  • Solid experience in Private Cloud / Data Center environments
  • Experience with cluster management, HA, DRS
  • Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage and virtualization networking
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with VMware NSX / vRealize
  • Automation using PowerCLI / scripting
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud (AWS/Azure)
  • VMware certifications (VCP preferred)
