Description

Manage and support VMware and Windows environments within a data center infrastructure, resolving escalated technical tickets and ensuring system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and administer virtualization products including VMware, Hyper-V, and vSphere.
• Identify and implement fixes for operational issues to prevent malfunctions and security breaches.
• Produce technical documentation regarding infrastructure design, quality standards, and testing procedures.
• Interpret system plans and diagrams to maintain correct software and configuration settings.
• Explain complex technical topics in layman’s terms to internal and external customers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data center and IT infrastructure management.
• 6+ years of dedicated experience in VMware administration.
• Advanced proficiency with vSphere, vSAN, and other VMware platforms.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon, vRealize, and NSX Cloud.
• Working knowledge of network engineering, including firewalls, routers, and servers.
• Proficiency with network administrator tools such as WinSCP, Putty, and Wireshark.
• Experience with IT Infrastructure Design.
