Description

You will manage and automate VMware Cloud Director environments and Aria Automation workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Director components, integrating them with vCenter Server and NSX.
• Manage tenant organizations, resource pools, storage policies, and access controls.
• Design and maintain automation workflows and self-service catalogs using VMware Aria Automation.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and vRA blueprints for provisioning VMs and applications.
• Monitor resource utilization, handle scaling for dynamic workloads, and apply infrastructure patches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization and cloud management.
• Deep understanding of VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Director (VCD).
• Knowledge of VMware NSX (V or T), VLANs, VPNs, and software-defined networking.
• Experience with VMware storage technologies such as vSAN.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with VMware Aria Automation and vRealize Suite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Puppet for infrastructure automation.
