Description

You will own the design, support, and automation of the virtualization environment and hyper-converged infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, including vCenter and vRealize components.
• Design and maintain end-to-end Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) including backup, storage, and automation.
• Troubleshoot production performance and runtime issues within the virtualization environment.
• Manage server consolidation and site migrations via V2V and P2V processes.
• Provide on-call support according to the assigned schedule.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization and computing environments.
• Hands-on expertise with VMware Suite, including vCenter and VMware Update Manager.
• Proficiency with vCenter Orchestrator and vCenter Cloud.
• Experience with vRealize Automation and vRealize Operations.
• Practical knowledge of orchestration tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience managing RDM configuration and management.
• Ability to design and monitor HCI components including storage and integration with UCS Central or Cisco Intersight.
• Skill in VM template design and right-sizing virtual servers.
