Description

You will manage VMware environments and physical server deployments within a co-location setting. You will configure and implement VMware for Windows and Linux images, integrate network and SAN storage in the Equinix environment, and deploy physical servers based on SME requirements. You will maintain detailed runbooks documenting all configuration details and project activities, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement VMware for Windows and Linux images.
• Integrate network and SAN storage within the Equinix co-location environment.
• Deploy and configure physical servers in Equinix based on SME requirements.
• Maintain a detailed runbook documenting all configuration details and project activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on VMware virtualization experience, specifically with vSphere and vMotion.
• 3+ years of experience deploying Windows Server and RHEL Linux images as VMware guests.
• 5+ years of technical experience including Active Directory navigation, queries, domain object joining, DNS, and Group Policy modifications.
• Experience integrating network and SAN storage in co-location environments.
• Strong technical documentation skills for maintaining runbooks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of functional knowledge using ServiceNow for change management, incident management, and CMDB usage.
