Description

You will support and implement agency IT system infrastructure within a medium to large-scale VMware and Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day support, research, analysis, and implementation of VMware and Windows systems.
• Manage VMware maintenance, including VMtools updates and hardware compatibility updates.
• Execute OS upgrades, software patch installation, and system testing.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Translate user requests into actionable VMware or Windows tasks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Windows Server 2012 or higher, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience managing medium to large-scale enterprise server environments.
• 7+ years of experience with VMware infrastructure, including maintenance and hardware compatibility.
• 7+ years of experience writing and implementing PowerShell scripts.
• 7+ years of experience with SAN technology attached to VMware, including setup, validation, and troubleshooting.
• 7+ years of experience with OS patching, upgrades, and WSUS maintenance.
• 7+ years of experience with standard server networking protocols.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Brocade switches for maintenance and SAN setup.
